National Science Centre

The National Science Center (NCN) is an institution that finances scientific and research projects in Poland. The National Science Center also acts as an international exchange platform, enabling Polish scientists to cooperate with researchers from other countries and participate in international research projects. The implementation of the above tasks is carried out through competitions for financing research projects.

The NCN calls open the possibility of applying for funding for research projects carried out in bilateral or trilateral international cooperation under the Weave programme, as well as projects carried out by Polish research teams with the use of large international research facilities.

As part of the NCN calls, it is possible to obtain funding for a project even at the level of 100%.

It is possible to apply for funding:

  • fixed assets,

  • intangible assets

  • costs of adapting the premises for the purposes of the research project.

The competitions are intended for scientists and entrepreneurs and do not specify a minimum or maximum project budget.
